Singer & Music Producer Dr Zeus was unhappy with Kanika Kapoor as he was not credited as the producer of her debut song Baby Doll Main Sone Di. Dr Zeus, during an interview, expressed his anger and said that Meet Bros reaped the fruits of his hard work as they were unfairly given the credit for the song.
After being tested positive for the novel coronavirus on 20 March 2020, Kanika Kapoor was heavily trolled on social media for being careless regarding the gravity of the disease, as she had attended at least three gatherings in Lucknow, including a night stay at a five-star hotel in the city. According to some medical officials at the Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS in Lucknow, where the singer underwent her treatment, she threw a lot of tantrums and wanted a celebrity type of treatment.
